The biggest breakthrough of Carol Alt’s modeling career was landing the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover way back in 1982.

After high-profile endorsements for Noxema, Cover Girl Cosmetics and Diet Pepsi, Alt publicly abandoned modeling in pursuit of acting, her passion. She then appeared in a slew of Italian movies.

The #5 top model of all time (according to askmen.com) then made her comeback as a contestant on Donald Trumps’ The Celebrity Apprentice where she ended up in third place.
