Victoria Beckham's U.S. reality TV special was a flop on Monday night (16JUL07) - more people tuned into re-runs of sitcoms.

Only 4.9 million Americans watched Victoria Beckham: Coming To America, which documented the Spice Girl's efforts to find a home in, and come to terms with, Los Angeles prior to her move to the city to support husband David Beckham's new career with soccer team the L.A. Galaxy.

The show was panned by TV critics, who called it "an orgy of self-indulgence", and it was the third most-watched show in its time slot on Monday night (16Jul07).

NBC will celebrate the re-airing of "Victoria Beckham: Coming to America" on Thursday, July 19 as the international superstar hosts the NBC Thursday night comedy line-up (8-10 p.m. ET) leading into an encore presentation of her popular special (10-11 p.m. ET) featuring her move across the pond from London to Los Angeles.

Beckham will provide commentary about her life in America featuring clips from her recent special, while she takes viewers through two hours of critically acclaimed comedy starting with "My Name Is Earl" at 8 p.m. ET, followed by "30 Rock" at 8:30 p.m. ET, leading into "The Office" at 9:00 p.m. ET and ending with "Scrubs" at 9:30 p.m. ET.

After the laughs, Victoria will introduce her popular special, "Victoria Beckham: Coming to America," which premiered as the #1 show in adults 18-49 from 8-9 p.m. on Monday, July 16.

Rating: 1

I know one thing that is definitely a flop, this Victoria Beckham out of this world creation. It's like superhero meets R2D2 meets Olive Oyl Meets Bicentennial Man Meets Biker Chick. I hear people say she's really funny and all, but I never got to watch her show and have no intentions to because I am quite sure it's as laughable as this alien inspired whatchamacallit.
