Tia Carrere has hit out at the dwindling career options of actresses in Hollywood, after being cast as the girlfriend of an actor who once played her father. The 40-year-old starred as the daughter of 59-year-old actor Richard Lewis' character in 1989 TV show Anything But Love - she now plays his girlfriend in Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Carrere says, "I play Richard Lewis's girlfriend, a character named Cha-Cha. What's funny is that 18 years ago I played Richard Lewis's daughter in Anything But Love. In another couple of years I'm going to be playing his mother, I think. It's the trajectory of a female career in this business."

Rating:  1

This is the part where I wish the De Lorean, the home made time machine in the movie Back to the Future was for real. That way we can transport all the fashion offenders back into time, a time where their fashion statements probably made sense because I am just dying here looking at Tia's outdated outfit.
