Model Regina Deutinger wears what is supposed to be the world's most expensive Dirndl dress in Munich, southern Germany, on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006. The Dirndl dress is gemmed with 150,000 Swarovski jewels and costs 100.000 Euro (US$127,000)

Rating: 2

Astronomers would find the most expensive dress amusing as it looks like constellations or a group of stars. Try to spot the Big Dipper, Scorpius or maybe even the Orion.

According to the International Cosmetics & Perfumes Survey, 59% of men say a woman's scent makes a better first impression than her clothes.

Clive Christian's No.1: $2,150 (1oz) -  Production of No. 1 is limited by the scarcity of its ingredients, which include ylang ylang specially grown in Madagascar, vanilla, orris, natural gum resin, sandalwood and bergamot.

The name ylang-ylang is derived from Tagalog, either from the word ilang, meaning "wilderness", alluding to its natural habitat, or the word ilang-ilan, meaning "rare", suggestive of its exceptionally delicate scent. The plant is native to the Philippines and Indonesia and is commonly grown in Polynesia, Melanesia and Micronesia.

I spoke to a botanist friend who has been to these Asian countries and he pointed out that these ylang-ylang is so common, it grows like weeds in most homes. What scarcity of ingredients are they talking about?

Ylang ylang is so commonplace. What makes this perfume so special other than being marketed as the world's most expensive perfume? The price stinks! Maybe, some people will just pay a premium just so they won't smell like the ugly neighbors. :)

And if you think the the shirt on the left is the more expensive shirt, you are absolutely right! It cost $1,300. The swarovski Tee is the most expensive T Shirt ever made in the world and is for sale at Harrods.

A. The one-of-a-kind 4½-inch stiletto sandals are studded with 565 platinum-set Kwiat diamonds (which include 55 carats of clear diamonds and one big 5-carat stone).

B. Two belts of glimmering rhinestones form a sparkling upper, while a striking sculpted base offers elegant curves Price: $99

Rating: 2

I guess it's pretty obvious which one has the real sparklers, the thing is, for two million dollars, the shoe design is nothing to celebrate about. A design like this are a dime a dozen. The 'Cinderella slippers,' were worn by singer Alison Krauss (nominated for best song for the film Cold Mountain) at the 2004 Oscars ceremony. Price: $2 million

This Chopard watch features three heart-shaped diamonds, the pink weighs 15 carats, the blue weighs 12 carats and the white weighs 11 carats. They are set in a bracelet encrusted with clusters of white pear-shaped diamonds arrange in flower motifs, with a yellow diamond standing up from the center of each. Total carat weight of the white and yellow diamonds is 163 carats, while the total carat weight of the watch is 201 carats. The watch has a spring-loaded mechanism which, when pressed, allows the three heart shapes to mechanically open up, much the way the petals of a flower will in the sunshine. The watch face, pavé-set with small round yellow diamonds, is exposed from underneath the heart-shaped diamonds. Price tag: $25 million.

The specifications for a number of the diamonds are as follows:

This is how I see it, this is not a watch. This is a heavily studded diamond bracelet that came with a watch. A watch worth in millions should come with some of the greatest complications. I know this is totally insane but I am sure you wouldn't mind if you got one for Christmas.
