And Now for the 64 Million Dollar Question…
1. Why don't you not mention brand names. Do you do it deliberately?
We deliberately do not mention brand names because apart from not wanting to be accused of shilling for brands, we also do not want to make it appear like we're being biased in our preferences. We want to criticize for its merits or otherwise, not for who designed it. Kinda like the "blame the deed and not the doer," although if you feel like we're already being pious here, rest assured we're going to share our opinions as we see it regardless of any calls to be politically correct.
4. If this is a fashion site, why do you get personal?
Because that's what you want. Celebrity and skin sell. So do opinions about their fashion sense. Britney and Paris can only do so much for bloggers and writers to talk about. We thought we can fill the void regarding celebrity fashion. Popular doesn't make you fashionable, after all (although shelling out on expensive clothes from all that money you spent on their movies sure helps).
5. Why do I see other posts other than Mean Critics?
We recently opened the site to a few bloggers who want to try their hand in being a critic. So, if you'd like to give it a shot, you can write to meancritic@gmail.com and maybe see your opinions here, too.
Rating: 5
There is a lot of room for another critic and a mean one at that.
