Am I the only one who rolls her eyes in disgust upon seeing monogrammed bags? It’s everywhere! Who cares if that trash is worth thousands of dollars? The more reason they shouldn’t have bought it in the first place! You know what’s hilarious, they are really bad dressers. Where’s the class? I hope you are not of them who use it as their every day bag!

I actually know quite a number of people who feel the same as you do! You should form a club. Some people think wearing expensive designer automatically makes them stylish and classy. Ask the nouveau-riche - ha ha.

I am not very fond of bags like that myself. One of my favorite everyday bag is the Gryson Taylor Saddle bag (photo above). Carry it like a tote or put the strap across your chest to give you full use of your arms when shopping! Perfect for somebody lazy like me - another ha.

But you know, I have seen some people wear designer from head to toe - from hat to scarf to belt to bag to shoes, how about that? I think your eyes will pop!

Charlize was wearing a strapless beauty from Dior by John Galliano. The embellished black flats you are talking about is by Guiseppe Zanotti and they are so gorgeous.

The flats worked for Charlize because she’s 5′ 9 1/2.” If I were to wear that dress, I’d still wear something like that but this time with heels like the black beaded t-strap leather trim sandals by Dolce and Gabbana (top photo) - because I’m not as blessed as Charlize Theron you know!

Doing a Katie Holmes? I don’t know, I am not too fond of that trend. I do, however, roll up my skinny jeans and wear it with pointy mid calf boots or flip flops. But take a cue from Giselle Bundchen who is just perfection in her boots - I love it! Come to think of it, I have never ever seen her in a bad outfit, I think. She should be in my best dressed list. Hmmm.

I want my style icons to look good wherever - red carpet or not.  When they are doing errands that’s the time I really pay attention because nobody is dressing them up. No help, it’s all them. (I hope) With that it’s now easy to tell who really has fashion sense and who relies on stylists.

I certainly would like to see Demi Moore on that list, she loves color coordination without going overboard. Nicole Richie’s 60’s and 70s vibe with modern touch is also my type. I usually like Victoria Beckham’s clothes and her shoe collection is to die for. Janice Dickinson’s outfits on her show are fab- she’s so dramatic, I love it!

So you see, my best dressed celebrity list isn’t only based on what we see on the red carpet. It’s what they really have in their closets.

Janice black and white wrap dress with leggings is a cute outfit and she certainly has the attitude to go with it. Go Xian!
