Tight-fitting clothes become the full figured, voluptuous women. Then again, there are those who can carry it well and those who just try to.

All wearing the cream-colored, body-hugging Herve Leger’s dress (that costs $1025!):  newlywed Beth Ostrosky at a benefit in Long Island; Catherine Zeta-Jones on the Late Show with David Letterman; and Aubrey O’Day at a gala in New York.

2 Beth (hairspray much?)

3 Catherine (not so keen with the shoes)

4 Aubrey (just lose the clutch, please)

Catherine Zeta Jones and husband Michael Douglas share a birthday (September 25).

When they first met, Douglas told her “I’d like to father your children.”

Her firstborn Dylan is named after the legendary Welsh poet Dylan Thomas.

The Zeta Jones-Douglas brood live in Bermuda, but they maintain two other homes in Swansea, Wales and in the Spanish island of Majorca.

The first thing you notice about this outfit is … the belt. Not Catherine’s gorgeous face, nor her new haircut, but just the belt. And it’s not even a pretty belt, which makes this uninspired outfit all the more tragic.

Catherine Zeta-Jones

"Until somebody actually tells me he's 25 years older than me, I don't actually think about it,"

"Whatever it takes for someone to feel happy within themselves." (on plastic surgery and Botox)

"I'm a mother. I'm not going to be rip-roaring in corsets playing a 19-year-old, because I'm not. I'm 38 years old. [But] I'm not going to be playing old grannies any time soon."

"Everyone gets confused. It's Bermuda." (when asked how it is living in Bahamas)

"It was a bit of a blur because I gave birth nine days later. I had to watch the re-run to see what I said." (on winning an Oscar for Chicago)

"He's doing great guns. He's 91. He's completely in love with me, I have to say." (on Kirk Douglas)

"I would love to be able to contact people on the other side. If I could speak to my grandmother tonight I'd be doing webcams with her constantly." (on her views of the psychic world)

"It goes right in my stomach, thank you very much. The strawberry thing is a new thing to me … wouldn't you think you'd get, like, red stains on your teeth?" (on whether she really uses strawberries to brush her teeth and caviar in her hair)

One shoulder dresses are always a sexy sight as it just shows just the right amount of skin. That's sexy without being skanky.

Not really loving the print of Catherine's black and white number but she looks great. And the sandals…I like! It's fabulous.

Actor Michael Douglas fell in love with beautiful actress Catherine Zeta-Jones - because of their shared love of crosswords. The Basic Instinct actor, 62, confesses it was Zeta Jones' passion for puzzles which made her marriage material.

He says, "We share the same birthday. We both like golf. We both like to do the crossword puzzle. We both love news."

Douglas married the Chicago actress in New York in 2000.

Catherine is just crazy beautiful! For a mother of two, golly she's mega hot! But sadly the same thing can't be said about the dress.

Although she is wearing the fall color which is so Barney, she apparently doesn't still know when a dress is considered fishy. Plus, it makes you look wide, the style I mean.

CATHERINE Zeta-Jones begins to explain, "The worst thing about having so many houses … " before pausing. "That's a terrible statement, which I'm sure you're going to publish."

She smiles, playing up to it now. She throws her head back. Her diamond earrings wiggle; her dark curls bounce. "The worst thing about all these houses," she continues, stressing every word in her Welsh-Hollywood burr, "is that when I have an outfit and I think it's going to look great with a certain pair of shoes, I remember they're in Bermuda!"

The Oscar-winner from Mumbles, Wales, counts five homes, including those in Bermuda, New York and Mallorca. "So, that's why I have to buy lots of shoes, because I have one particular outfit that I need (to wear) with particular shoes - and they're not here," she continues, warming to her theme. "Or, I have the skirt here and the jacket in Bermuda. I have to have some excuse for my husband (actor Michael Douglas). He often takes me into my closet and says, 'Could you explain to me why? Why you possibly have all these shoes?'"

Zeta-Jones looks down at her black leather Christian Louboutin platforms. She kicks her peep-toe heels in the air. "I have so many pairs, it's ridiculous."

Well, she wasn't kidding when she said that she has the right shoe for a certain dress. This is what I am talking about, if you are wearing a plain colored dress, make sure your sandals have attitude and most specially sparkles. And she got this outfit perfect from head to foot, not to mention the OMG coca cola body.

Men will never understand why a woman has to have a lot of shoes. I always hear men complain that a black shoe is a black shoe is a black shoe. I guess they will never understand unless they were just a little bit of a fashionista. There's too much to consider what kind of shoes goes with what. And we can talk the whole day about it.

Catherine Talks About Caviar in Her Hair

Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones has dismissed reports she washes her hair with caviar and truffles, insisting she'd sooner eat the products than put them on her head.

A British newspaper recently claimed the Traffic star spends $400 (£200) per wash on caviar shampoo - flown from Iran five days before her visit to a beauty salon in London - to get an unbeatable shine.

She says, "Is it true that I put caviar and truffles in my hair to keep it glossy? Yes, I spend thousands of dollars. Michael (Douglas, her husband) buys me caviar and truffle oil treatments for my hair.

"I'm not that dumb. If he was buying me caviar, it'd be in my stomach, not on my head."

Somebody is looking hot in this nude sheath. Catherine is sexy, no doubt about that. But I just can't stand the color purple on her gold sandals. If they wanted to break the monotony, they could have chosen silver and gold sandals. Also, I don't understand what the heck is going on with all the heavy make up, it just isn't pretty. Looks like somebody wanted to make her look old.

Welsh actress Catherine Zeta-Jones put her non-existent cooking skills to the ultimate test on TV on Wednesday morning when she attempted to make a sour-cherry pie under the supervision of American lifestyle queen Martha Stewart.

The Oscar winner, who plays a chef in her new film No Reservations, joined co-star Aaron Eckhart on the Today show for a cookery segment.

Stewart admitted she was impressed with Zeta-Jones' acting skills after seeing the film - because she was "wonderful" in the kitchen.

The actress, who admits she's a terrible cook, quipped, "Don't tell my husband (actor Michael Douglas)."

I've seen this red sequin micro dress on a model on the runway and between Catherine and the model, I choose the model. Also, the strappy black sandals she's wearing somehow doesn't look right with the dress. It looks a bit off. But love the bling.

Catherine is No Diva, Just Insecure

Catherine Zeta-Jones has laughed off reports she is a diva, insisting she is incredibly shy and riddled with insecurities. The Chicago actress - who is married to Michael Douglas, 62 - has earned herself a name in Hollywood for being one of the more demanding stars in the industry, but the 37-year-old Welsh beauty believes it is all a big misunderstanding.

She says, "There is a much shyer quality to me that people don't usually see. I get perceived as 'Here comes the showgirl', when in fact I have my insecurities. I'm a lot more reserved than I let on."

I understand where she is coming from, I know a lot of shy people who get the same flak. Just wish people were more understanding.

Catherine is a model of perfection and sophistication in her brown ensemble. It's a lovely dress with a cute animal print bag plus sexy strappy sandals. The belt made a big difference as it updated a very simple brown dress. She's all class but at 37, she's not aging too well.
