Kerry Washington always used to play safe yet sophisticated. At the 23rd Annual American Cinematheque Awards, though, she chose to be different and wore a printed outfit. She would have probably looked fine with a plain colored belt, but Kerry either didn’t have any or thought adding a two-colored one would do. Never mind if the colors matched the printed colors of her outfit or not. Ah well, we all make mistakes and this one was a big one on the red carpet.

Damages is one TV series I’m addicted to. Rose Byrne and Glenn Close are great actresses, after all, and the plot keeps you such suspense. At the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund event, Rose kept it simple in her metallic silver dress. Her perfect curls are to die for, but she didn’t have to wear brown pumps to match them in color. Silver strappy heels would have been more glam.

Kerry Washington, however, looked gorgeous in her Peter Som strapless dress in silver, accessorized with a fab black Tim Binn necklace. Now that’s the way to look like a star.

Let it glow, let it glow let it glow. If we were to have a blackout in Los Angeles City, you won’t have a hard time spotting Kerry Washington in her golden floor length gown.They waste too much sequins and it doesn’t even make that thing any nicer.

Kerry Washington usually wows everyone with her red carpet choices, being not afraid to cross the style categories and try out cutting-edge and couture looks. However at the recently held Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame Awards, she made the mistake of wearing the same Roberto Cavalli gown Petra Nemcova wore six months earlier.

Celebrities should really avoid becoming the subject of a “Who Wore It Better” and “Who Was More Fab” posts like this at all costs. I have to admit both stars looked beautiful, but I guess Kerry didn’t forego footwear like Petra did.
