The hilarious film is about an underestimated sorority blonde star Elle Woods. After getting dump for someone more “serious,” Elle takes a different turn and sets to go where no Delta Nu has ever gone before - Harvard Law School! The celebrities were summoned to wear Elle’s favorite color pink. Let’s check out what the celebrities were wearing.

Haylie Duff was supposed to arrived with her sister Hilary as she was also in the confirmed list of guests. No pink for Haylie as she wore a blue strapless French Connection dress cinched at the waist with a Swarovski belt with Steven pumps and carried a Chanel purse. Her earrings were vintage. Haylie arrived just few minutes before the show started so she had to rush. But she did apologized and said that she didn’t want to be the last woman standing. We understand Haylie.

If you are a fan of Kieffer Sutherland’s hit show 24, then watch out for this guy Akbar Kurtha. He will play the son of a foreign president in the next season. They are still in the middle of filming so he can’t divulge anything. He wears a Miu Miu shirt with Levi’s jeans. Click on this for my interview with Akbar on the Stylecritics channel in youtube.

The Rodriguez siblings Raini and Rico. Raini played Kevin James’ daughter in the hit movie “Paul Blart: Mall Cop”. Rico definitely knew what he was talking about as he talked in length about his show “Modern Family.” Raini bought her outfit at Nordstrom and with the help of her manager added a feather trim and flowerettes to her black skirt.

Kristen Renton (Days of our Lives) said she doesn’t like pink and this was the only pink she has. She found this pink Betsey Johnson dress with black lace overlay in her closet. It’s a family affair for Kristen with shoes given by her sister and the rings by her mother. She wore a Dolce & Gabbana watch.

Heather Tom (Bold and the Beautiful) They were asked to wear pink and she came dressed as Elle Woods. Heather says this pink sequined number has been sitting in her closet since 1994 and has worn it only once before. She was able to find a matching Christian Louboutin with its pink bows because “she buys the shoes before the outfit.” When asked what’s her favorite part of the movie, Heather said she likes the part where Elle gets her nails done because that is so her. And that she’s also like Elle because she goes around carrying a dog in her bag. She wanted to bring her doggie Oscar to the premiere! How cute is that?

Kimberly Locke (American Idol) is currently in talks with Randy Jackson for her album and will be executive producing and hosting a show called “Making the Curve” out hopefully this fall. Who can forget Danica McKellar who played Fred Savage pretty little girlfriend Winnie Cooper on “The Wonder Years”? She wore a silver cropped Norma Kamali jacket with a Bebe sheath dress which she described as “two random pieces” she put together. Danica got her bag from an old bags luncheon where celebrities and other people donate old bags and bid against each other to raise money for lupus. Catch Danica later this year as she just finished an independent film with Faye Dunaway. She’s currently busy writing her third book but this time on Algebra. Her first two books, “Math Doesn’t Suck” and “Kiss My Math” were New York Times Best Sellers. Not a lot of people know that Danica studied in UCLA, majoring in math. She graduated summa cum laude in 1998.

Funny girl Jennifer Elise Cox says she’s “Elle Woods naturally.” Her pink body hugging dress is from her closet because she believes in recession shopping and being green. She keeps that body fit by doing pilates three times a week, one hour each session. Catch Jennifer Elise on the Rita Rocks show and next year with Jennifer Lopez in “The Back-Up Plan.”

Sexy girl Romi Dames was in total Elle Woods mode in a very cute English Clientele dress with a matching bag by Rebellish she picked up at the gift suites at the Teen Choice Awards. She tied a gold bow to cover the black handle to match her dress perfectly. Her beautiful necklace would you believe is from Forever 21? The strappy gold sandals are from Japan. I totally lost it when Romi showed me her best Elle Woods impersonation. “I love her, she’s like my favorite in the whole entire world!” she muses.

Elaine Hendrix doesn’t own anything pink she says. “This is about the closest thing I got and this is a Trina Turk.” But she looks gorgeous with matching gold Steve Madden bag and strappy heels. She’s done so many movies but apparently she’s always associated with that famous remake of “Parent Trap” with Lindsay Lohan. Elaine says, “That movie for whatever reason struck the hearts of people all over the world and I am obviously proud to be a part of it.” I did “What the Bleep Do we Know!?” which was another huge phenomenon and is still running all over the world and a lot of TV programs. I was really sad when Joan of Arcadia got canceled because it was a very smart, well-made show. And then now I’m producing a lot of my own things as well, I am producing features. I have seven films coming this next year and I have a whole slate in development, so it’s a good time for me.” Even with her busy schedule, she still came out for the premiere to support fellow actresses.

Garbed in a vintage dress and a stole from the Wedding Crashers, Jane Seymour was really feeling the Elle Woods fever. “I saw the show in New York and Laura Bell Bundy who started it - is a friend - so I’m excited to see tonight’s show, Jane said. Jane carried a Mary Norton clutch, wore a Cartier watch and beautiful jewelry she designed for Kay Jewelers.

LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL PREMIERE
Alanna Ubach who played Serena in both Legally Blonde movies was also there to check out the premiere. She jokingly said, “I am looking forward to seeing the girl who plays Serena. She better be good or else I will go back there and beat her to the pulp!” The funny woman who was dressed in something she had in her closet forever went for an LBD she bought a few years back. She wore strappy Prada shoes and did not wear pink. Although, she teased that she has something pink underneath and it wasn’t her underwear! Naughty girl!
