JENNIFER LOPEZ and MARC ANTHONY’s luxe baby-boudoir for twins Max and Emme may have been propped for a photo shoot, but it appeared to be a what not to do guide to childproofing, with countless safety hazards including numerous risk factors for sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) like blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, and bumpers in the crib. A fireplace, low-hanging curtains, and lamps within reach of tiny arms round out the pop parents nursery decor.

New moms may agree with JAIME LYNN SPEARS proclamation that being a mom is the best feeling in the world, but many probably also wish the young star wasn’t sending such a glowing message about unplanned teen pregnancy to her adolescent fans. Looks like Jamie-Lynn is following in the footsteps of big-sis Britney Spears, a two-time Stinky Diaper recipient herself.

Following her all-female soiree a few days ago at the Spears’ Serenity mansion a few weeks ago, Jamie Lynn Spears is headed for baby shower number two. This time, more relatives from the Alridge clan are in attendance.

About 40 guests were in attendance in what is the pregnant 17-year-old’s second baby shower in just one week. Still, baby-daddy Casey Alridge, 18, was missing in action. Excited relatives from the Alridge side included his mom Joyce and sister Ashley.

Pregnancy did not stop Jamie Lynn from looking fabulous and happy in technicolor. The Pucci print worked its magic, making us forget that the teen is in her final trimester. In her printed empire dress, she doesn't look pregnant, maybe just a little bloated. Jamie is clearly the more stylish of the Spears sisters.

Jamie Lynn Spears' father is "still furious" with his ex-wife Lynne's decision to cash-in on their 16-year-old daughter's pregnancy.

Jamie "did not spend Christmas with [Lynne] or Jamie Lynn and instead stayed in LA to work," a Spears family source tells Usmagazine.com.

"He doesn't get a dime from his daughters," the source says. "He busts his ass to take care of himself. That's why he's so furious with Lynne."

Jamie has been working long hours as a private chef to make a living while ex-wife Lynne, as Us Weekly reports in its latest issue (on newsstands now), arranged a $1 million deal with OK! magazine for the story of Jamie Lynn's pregnancy. Lynne also receives a percentage of her daughters' salaries.

Usmagazine.com reported last week, per a source close to the family, that Jamie "refused to take any money and 'profit off of his children.'"

While in LA, Jamie has seen his grandchildren, Sean Preston and Jayden James, the sons of his daughter Britney and her ex-husband Kevin Federline, Us has learned.

If Nickelodeon keeps Jamie Lynn Spears on its airwaves, the network will seem to be saying that unmarried teen pregnancy, a major American problem, is negotiable if the unmarried teen is a good earner.

It’s not that Nickelodeon has ever lived in some ’50s sitcom world where kids never face tough issues like sex. Spears’ character in “Zoey” has faced them herself.

But Nick, unlike many other media, doesn’t wink at ill-advised behavior or ignore its potential consequences, and that’s what the current Spears flurry is really about: consequences. All 16-year-olds make mistakes. They all need forgiveness, from others and themselves. But forgiveness does not erase consequences, and Jamie Lynn doesn’t get a pass because she was unbelievably stupid, even allowing for the fact brains don’t run in her family.

Britney Spears' sister Jamie Lynn jumped to her sibling's defense recently when she was verbally attacked by a Malibu, California, neighbor. The troubled singer, 25, reconciled with her estranged mother Lynne Spears and her younger sister Jamie Lynn on Friday evening, when they flew out to Los Angeles from their home in Kentwood, Louisiana.

On Sunday night, the star was forced to cower behind 16-year-old Jamie Lynn as they made their way to a sushi restaurant in Malibu. According to TMZ.com, the unnamed woman started shouting, "Nobody wants you in this neighborhood! …You're making the neighborhood unsafe!"

However Jamie Lynn promptly hit back: "Then move the f**k outta the neighborhood!"

Spears fell out with her mom in June, after the Toxic star reportedly ordered Lynne to stay away from her two sons - Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, one.

We all know what's going on with Britney so actually unless she's wearing something acceptable then that would be newsworthy - otherwise it's the same old same old freak show. Jamie Lynn, on the other hand is looking like a normal teenager in jeans and white tee. Casual is nice but you have got to be kidding with the fuschia pumps, right?

Jamie Lynn, 16, is at the head of the teen-girl pack. And with her hit Nickelodeon comedy Zoey 101 drawing an all-time high 3 million viewers in its season four premiere, she's thinking of taking her act to the big screen. "I'd love to do a movie," she tells Us. "I want somebody to look at me and say, 'Wow, she's a really good actress.'"

Jamie Lynn sang a duet with Aaron Carter in 2000 for his Christmas album, but the song never got released.

She won 1st place in the Baton Rouge Gymnast meet when she was 10, in early may 2001.

Jamie Lynn was offered a chance to be the little girl dreaming about being Britney at one of Britney's Grammy Performances but Jamie turned it down saying she wasn't ready for that.

While touring with Britney on her Dream Within a Dream Tour Jamie Lynn had a tutor on the road with her helping her with school work, Her cousin Jamie Convington.

Jamie Lynn spent Christmas 2003 in Vail, Colorado. Britney flew Lynne, Jamie Lynn and three of her friends there for five days.
