Taking a break from the Lipstick Jungle set where they’re usually dressed to the nines, Brooke Shields and Kim Raver went to the Cookie magazine Kidsfest lookin’ all fresh and casually chic.

Brooke Shields will probably be always a beauty, but her choice of clothing is far from the fab ones she dons in Lipstick Jungle. She looks like she’s in mourning in this not-so-little black dress, despite the see-through sleeves. Silver hoop earrings didn’t make up for it, nor did the gray pumps.

Through her great-grandmother, Brooke is a a 23rd generation descendant of Francesco I Gattilusio, which ruled the Greek island of Lesbos from 1355-1462.
Other descendants of Gattilusio include Prince Rainier of Monaco, Dr. Otto von Habsburg, and the Marquis de Sade.

Tall people can get away with wearing flats but this isn't just the outfit for it. It doesn't look right. Come to think of it, even the ombre dress doesn't look right. It's all wrong.
Brooke Shields started her showbiz career as an infant. She has an Ivory soap baby in a commercial shot by Francesco Scavullo.
