Not quite crazy about the pink pumps, but Rebecca’s gray draped creation is to die for! This dress packs a lot of style in the few easy seconds it takes to slip over your head. I want one!

German beauty Claudia Schiffer insists aspiring models can no longer achieve the kind of fame she, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista enjoyed in the 90s.
She believes actresses and pop stars are now much more likely to grac ethe covers of magazines, preventing models from reaching global celebrity status.
She told German magazine Fivetonine: "In order to become a supermodel one must be on all the covers all over the world at the same time so that people can recognize the girls.
"That is, for now, not least because the advertising industry is very much taken nowadays by pop stars and actresses. Supermodels, like we once were, don't exist any more."
She said: "I can remember when I needed four bodyguards to get backstage from a Chanel show just to my car. And that wasn't only me. It just isn't like that any more."

Accessories can make or break an outfit. Aa starfish brooch and ribboned pumps? Definitely a bad hair day for Claudia.

Claudia Schiffer made her first appearance on celluloid in Richie Rich (1994), as an aerobics instructor. The role apparently encouraged some real-world pursuits, as she would release a line of workout videos the following year. Also in 1994, she was a natural to cameo in Robert Altman's fashion industry send-up Ready to Wear, the first of Schiffer's many film appearances as herself, including Ben Stiller's Zoolander (2001). She took on a larger role in the romantic comedy Friends & Lovers (1999), and earned real credibility by getting cast in James Toback's cinéma vérité approach to multiracial youth culture, Black and White (1999).

Adding a tiger print belt on Claudia's red top and black skirt doesn't really make it the outfit growl. Time to put it in the cage.

"It doesn't really look good any more," Claudia Schiffer opines on today’s crop of catwalkers, “"Fashion looks good on thin models, but when you look at today's models you cannot help but think there's something wrong. They are way too thin. It is only bones that stick out."
Schiffer, 36, has been vocal about speaking out against the trend on models and young Hollywood being dangerously thin. "Models have always been thin. But today, they are even thinner, which is unbelievable."

Supermodel CLAUDIA SCHIFFER is postponing the writing of her autobiography - because she's terrified at the prospect of divulging intimate details of her life. The 37-year-old - who has graced the cover of over 550 magazines in her career so far - has turned down several lucrative publishing deals because she isn't ready for fans to learn all about her life as a model. She says, "I've had a lot of offers but I just don't feel ready yet. Everyone writes them when they are so young these days, and I don't think the time is right for me. "Plus you have to write about all these incredibly personal things. I've always been a very private person - but who knows? Maybe one day I'll feel ready."

The safari print dress was workable if she only left her tights which is totally a turn off even to me. Where's the hotness?
