Love the color blue and more and more female celebrities are choosing it over black recently. Too bad not all can choose fab blue dresses. At the Alberta Ferreti store opening this month, Sanaa was probably the only one who did. Her choice was a turquoise frock with which she made an ivory statement necklace from Tobi Tobin’s Vintage Couture Collection, along with white shoes and clutch.

Emmy Rosum would have looked good in her blue Ferreti dress had she not worn those awful purple shoes and beige clutch. Lucy Liu caught the fringe fever, but chose to wear it on her dress, which didn’t quite look good. Marisa Tomei, as always, takes the cake. Her peacock blue dress, a Ferreti it may be, is just uuugly. Sorry, Alberta. Maybe it would look good on someone else. But Marisa just has the habit of looking real bad these days.

If there was one celebrity who could bore me to tears by just showing up at a red carpet, it has got to be Emmy Rossum and her wardrobe choices. I can’t remember this girl ever wearing something that made me  jump with joy.

Leather clothing has always been associated with the sexy biker look. Some look glam in it, while others shouldn’t even dare think about it.

Luckily for these gals, they’ve got the right figures and attitudes to pull it off. Anne Hathaway carried herself well in this one-shoulder leather mini at the MTV Awards, fitting for the event. To balance it with her natural sweet looks, she wore her hair, princess style with matching sparkling dangling earrings.

Emmy Rossum, at the recent Blackberry party, wore a simple-cut leather dress with stitching. This gal has been caught wearing leather more than once and pulling it off. But somehow, something seems off with the way she looks to me.
Sophia Bush, now she is one hot gal in leather. Don’t let the classic look fool you. With those expressive eyes and mouth of hers, she turned the heat up at the 2008 Hollywood Lifestyle Awards in that leather Port 1961 dress she wore. Strange looking shoes, though.

When you are young and full of hope, you’ve got the entire color wheel to choose from. Wear the rainbow’s colors! But if you’ve got to wear black, then do it the Tisdale way. Cute, fun and sassy – that’s what you want to be when you’re twenty-three.

If I hadn’t known better, I would have thought that Emmy’s at least a decade older than Ashley. See what a dress can do? No 22-year-old should be stuck in this The Matrix cast-off.

We get it that most girls Emmy Rossum’s age are in a hurry to grow up. But while most of them are dressing sexier than their young years (think Hayden Panetierre), Emmy skips middle age and heads straight for retirement.

Annie Oakley, move over. In her new action movie, next year’s Dragonball, Emmy Rossum shoots a gun.

“It was really fun,” the Golden Globe-nominated actress-singer, 21, told PEOPLE at Saturday’s alice+olivia Perrier Jouet-hosted Hamptons fashion show, where she showed support for her friend Stacey Bendet’s women’s fall collection. “I still have my papers from the target practice at home, because I was just so proud that I could shoot it.”
