A coat is a necessity in cold weather. A right one brings out the glam in you. With that in mind, “Lipstick Jungle” star Lindsay Price has several coats — in neutral and colorful shades. The yellow and orange ones were seen on her as she tried them out at a boutique. I personally favor the cut of the orange one among the four coats and think the color best suits her, too. Like her hair down better, though.

Love the layers and layers of baby blue chiffon Grecian inspired gown on Lindsay Price - so so pretty. I hope she can doge bullets with those Wonder Woman bracelets!
Update: According to Brooke Shields, Lipstick Jungle hasn’t been canceled. Maybe it was the tubes of lipstick fans sent to Jeff Zucker the president & CEO of NBC Universal?

Although I admit that this season’s storyline of Lipstick Jungle doesn’t seem to be going anywhere, I looove the clothes, makeup, and jewelry. Especially those cocktail rings. In episode 8, Pandora’s Box, Victory Ford (played by Lindsay Price) wears this cute flower cocktail ring that I just had to have myself. Large cocktail ins are the trend, after all, and a flower gives that feminine edge. After lots of searching, I found it. It’s black and white Kenneth Jay Lane Enamel Cuff with Flower Top and Pearl Center. Still available at Amazon.com for $163. Before I found it, though, I discovered first the Flower Cocktail Ring with Birthstone in Gold at PenelopePoet.com, which would be great for more formal wear. It does, unfortunately, cost $470. Well worth, just the same. A cheaper alternative, particularly for those who prefer silver accessories, would be Nolan Miller’s Colossal Flower Cocktail Ring that only costs $81 at QVC.com.
I’ll still watch the remaining episodes of Lipstick Jungle before I bid adieu. Who knows, I might just get more fab finds from the show.

The other reason I watch “Lipstick Jungle” is to catch Kim Raver’s character, the hotshot editor who wears gorgeous clothes and accessories all the time. Plus, Kim Raver is a beauty and her make-up is something I’d like to master putting on my own face.
At the Hollywood Dominos game launch, she came out a fabulous flapper in a beaded, 20s-inspired cocktail dress by Naeem Khan. Although fellow “Lipstick Jungle” actress Lindsay Price wore a silver gown by the same designer, she pales beside Kim.

3 Lindsay
4 Kim (silver strappy heels would have better completed her look)

Former fashion model Joy Bryant knows what she’s doing. She tops off a casual outfit with this to-die-for embellished bolero. And ta-da! Instant red carpet ready.
Some, on the other hand, have to die trying. Lindsay still looks very Barney in this predominantly white dress and purple accessories. I guess she taught about color coordination way too much. When it comes to fashion, just go with the flow…

In the Lindsay vs. Lindsay fashion face-off, Price wins by the skin of her dress. Skinned an ostrich for this one? Price in feathers is not a pretty sight.
If you got to peddle your own overpriced leggings, LiLo, then make sure you pick a good outfit to go along with it. Too short tops are a no-no. And leggings with flip-flops are my pet peeve.

The Bronze goes to Natasha Bedingfield who looks like a fashionable nurse. Silver goes to Natalia for looking like a princess in some fairy tale and the gold goes to Lindsay in her all white sheath dress. Now, if only it was two inches shorter and she didn’t wear it with tribute heels… Peep toes would have been much better.

Seen last Friday donning red dresses were original 9210 star Shannen Doherty and Lipstick Jungle costar Lindsay Price. It’s a question on everyone’s minds, though, what Shannen was thinking when she chose to wear her silk shirt dress for the Late Night Show with David Letterman. Maybe she was going for the bedroom look, with her hair looking unkempt and all. Lindsay, on the other hand, wore a simple and feminine frock, unlike her fashion designer character on TV.
Rating
4 Lindsay (for wearing the better red dress and great ‘do)
3 Shannen (should have been less, but the plus goes for the better taste in shoes)
