I like Sarah Jessica Parker as a person not as a fashion icon. It’s nice that she takes a lot of fashion risks  — getting laughed at for the sake of fashion is part of it.  Now, how many times can you wear this dress, realistically? Just once, I mean look at the tears on this sequin and lace dress. I didn’t think so. Well you can always rip off those and you got yourself a black strapless dress! I get it now. Or not.

There’s dad Jordan Bratman in the background looking like he hasn’t had a change of clothes for days while mom Christina’s wearing her entire wardrobe on her back a la bag lady. I like SJP as a person. She’s smart and articulate but as a fashion icon, she’s too much to handle! A simple outfit is not something SJP  is known for, it’s always has to have drama. Thing is, we don’t like drama we can’t relate to. But her outfits do make me cry, so it probably serves its purpose after all.

A goddess and her peasants have arrived. SJP found her dress in a dumpster and decided to sew in the missing pieces. Malin decided to take her curtains and wrap it dysfunctionally all over her.

And bam, Claire Danes royally enters. Her jaw dropping platinum one shoulder dress with matching open toe pumps and silver clutch could make any lower class citizen drop dead. Looks like Danes upgraded from playing Shakespeare’s heartbreaking Juliet to a Majestic Royal.
