Gwyneth Paltrow is one to take fashion risks, but sadly they don’t always work out for her. This time she kept it simple with a plum one-shouldered dress and looks normal for once. That’s a complement, considering that her fashion forward risks put her a step back style-wise.

Some women still don’t get what an LBD is, it’s just not a little black dress. It’s the material, it’s the cut and the elegance that goes with it. No skankiness allowed. Anybody can wear a black dress but choosing the good outfits can be a little tricky for some.

Gwenyth wins in both her outfits - the all black number and her pleated ruffled Marni dress with opaque tights and sandals. That’s the way to do it.
