Avril Lavigne partied the night away in St. Tropez with her husband, Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley noticeably absent from her side. Still, Avril enjoyed the night in a gunmetal gray strapless dress which she wore with black combat boots. It is a cute dress and Avril just had to put in her own unique touch with the footwear. Looks like Avril’s style has mellowed down a bit along with her music. Her yet-untitled album due out this November is a lot different from anything she has done before. “It’s not a pop-rock record. This is more about emotion and feeling,” Avril said.

She wears a black and white striped tank top with a short black skirt, red belt and platform shoes. Avril can wear this look during daytime too, with flat shoes and sans the belt.
