It’s winter in New York, but Kate Holmes may not be aware of it when she wore denim shorts over black tights the other day. The again, she did wear a cardigan and scarf. She does look cute, though. Perhaps this is her way of showing everyone she’s not really into grandma clothing?

A little birdie told me that over at the Big Apple Birkins are so… everywhere. Yeah, everybody and her dog seems to have one. Gasp! Will it soon be like those ubiquitous LV monogram bags? Another gasp!

Makes you think - is there really a waiting list? Not according to Mike Tonello, the author of Bringin Home the Birkin. Yeah, the guy who claimed he bought 135 Birkins in a three month period and then sells it off at ebay. You know what they say - you lust more for things so hard to get.

But are people really buying Birkins for the right reasons? The bag is too dignified like it only fits someone with Victoria Beckham’s profile. Mr. Tonnello said paying too much for an expensive bag is ridiculous. How sad but true!

Rumors have it that Katie is pregnant again! Wow, this buzz will definitely boost Tom Cruise movie “Valkyrie”  which will be opening on December 25. Hmmm. It’s like Katie’s first pregnancy all over again, everybody talked about Tom and Katie just in time for the Mission Impossible 3 opening. Another hmmmm…

After all the baggy pants and grandma clothes she wore lately, Katie Holmes finally went out in a mini LBD. Can’t tell if it’s fab or not since she wore a knitted gray coat over the turtleneck dress, but it is refreshing, just the same, to see the All My Sons star dressed to the nines with iridescent stockings at that.

Jennifer Lopez was shopping recently with Leah Remini at West Hollywood in a very casual cute outfit toting a $4650 Giorgio Armani Sirena bag. Just a typical day for the lady from the block. Ah, Leah Remini looks okay as well in all black. But let’s talk about Jlo’s  bag.

Jlo joins a few celebs who are fans of this bag namely Victoria Beckham, Katie Holmes and Hilary Swank. Charlize Theron, Ellen Pompeo and Beyonce also has this fab bag.
