Goldie Hawn dished on the state of daughter Kate Hudson’s heart following her recent break-up from Owen Wilson.

"She's doing really well," Goldie told People Magazine at the Partouche Charity Poker Festival in Cannes, “She is an amazing girl."

Hawn is in Cannes with the celebrity poker tournament where $1 million is up for grabs for the winning celebrity’s charity of choice.

Suneet Verma is to make his debut in Hollywood designing the costumes for Goldie Hawn's new film.

The Indian designer has been assigned to work on Hawn's first directorial film 'Ashes to Ashes.'

The film, which is to be shot both in Chicago and India, is about a fashion diva played by Hawn who comes to India to bury the ashes of her husband in the Himalayas, where they had enjoyed their honeymoon. She discovers her true identity in the process.

The dual setting of the film is expected to give Verma the scope to incorporate both western and eastern fashion in the costumes.

This collaboration will help support the current Indian fashion boom and open doors for other Indian designers in Hollywood.

Even though Goldie's only had one hairstyle all these years, I still think that it suits her just fine. It's like a less wavy version of the famous Farrah Fawcett hair and shorter.

I absolutely love this white empire number on Goldie. Who cares if she's 61? (turning 62 in November) The woman looks fab although she went overboard with the gold accessories. The gold arm cuff is a nice touch but she's already wearing a cuff bracelet and to make matters worse, on the same arm!
