From People Magazine:

  1. She is on one of television’s biggest shows, but that doesn’t mean Teri Hatcher isn’t frugal: “I don’t spend my money on sports cars or new million-dollar houses,” she tells PEOPLE in 2005. “I drive my cars for 10 years until they have 100,000 miles on them.”
  2. Supermom Teri Hatcher has been known to make cakes and lollipop ornaments for daughter Emerson’s classes.
  3. Teri Hatcher has admitted to a few Botox and collagen injections when she was a “mom in the real world” feeling “old, tired and ugly,” she told USA Today in 2006. But she says she hasn’t done anything to her face during her Housewives reign. “I want to see who I am naturally,” said Hatcher.
  4. The only child of a physicist and a computer-programmer, Teri Hatcher once dreamed of becoming a math teacher.
  5. Nothing like her klutzy Desperate Housewives counterpart Susan, Teri Hatcher is a former professional dancer.

So…. My guess is that Teri is going for the ice princess look for the night. And she pulls it off well, without a doubt. Perhaps just leaning more towards the Snow Queen than the Disney princess.

"Marcia Cross and I were talking the other day and, and we both agreed we'd be happy to stay on the show until we were 60 if they'd have us." DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star Teri Hatcher has no plans to quit the hit TV show.

"I think I might be the only person left in Hollywood who has nothing fake about her." Teri Hatcher is proud of her refusal to go under the surgeon's knife.

This what I am saying if you must go a simple dress make sure it has details because it gives the dress some personality. Teri wore the right shoes and even got herself a gold clutch to match the outfit. The woman looks hot in orange and for her age.

Catch The Housewives on Sunday

Sunday Aug 26 at 9pm ET -
Everyone's lives on Wisteria Lane are forever changed when a hostage situation occurs at a local supermarket.

About the Show

Nothing is ever quite what it seems on Wisteria Lane.

"Desperate Housewives" is a contemporary take on the idea of living "happily ever after," with a dark, yet funny, look at suburbia.

The series began with Mary Alice Young (Brenda Strong) hiding a deadly secret and taking her own life. Now she comments on the lives of her friends, looking down from above.

Her friends include Susan Mayer (Teri Hatcher), the divorcee and single mom who will go to extraordinary lengths for love; Lynette Scavo (Felicity Huffman), who struggles with balancing the complications of work and family issues; Bree Van De Kamp (Marcia Cross) — Martha Stewart on steroids — who battles the demons of widowhood, alcoholism and vengeful children; Gabrielle Solis (Eva Longoria), the ex-model with everything she has ever wanted - a rich husband, a big house — everything that is, but a good marriage; and serial divorcee Edie Britt (Nicollette Sheridan), the free spirited real estate maven whose love life has everyone buzzing.

Then there are the men: Mike Delfino (James Denton), a plumber who is the on-again/off- again love of Susan's life; Lynette's adorable husband, Tom (Doug Savant), who, it's turning out, has his own share of secrets, and Gabrielle's estranged husband, Carlos (Ricardo Antonio Chavira). Joining the group is Bree's husband, Orson Hodge (Kyle MacLachlan); the charming Ian Kavanaugh (Dougray Scott), a new love interest for Susan; and Austin Britt (Josh Henderson), Edie's 17-year-old nephew, who shares his aunt's knack for stirring up trouble.

Marc Cherry (The Golden Girls) is executive producer and creator. In 2005 and 2006 the series won the Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy.

I have to say Teri's number is really something. I love the color and the fabric of her asymmetrical dress and the details on the side - fantastabulous! She has a pretty clutch adorned with beads and rhinestones and the gold open-toe python pumps just finishes it with a great touch.

I just fervently wish Teri can do something with her face, she looks a little uh, tired? I am trying my best to be nice, it's almost Christmas. :)
