Now that Sarah’s retired from her slaying ways, she’s now playing up her girly side. Still can’t let go of the dark side, vampire slayer? That dress is too blue and those shoes too clunky. That’s sad.

Dita’s going for that Old Hollywood glam but somehow she ended up looking a little vampy to me.

Those boots were not made for walking, those were made for firemen! There is no doubt the outfit is cute and even if the temperature was around 60's, the boots still look really silly.

"For a porn star, I didn't get much action. I filmed a love scene on Thanksgiving, and I had eaten all this turkey and mashed potatoes and was like, 'I seriously have to film a sex scene right now?' I was so tired from all the tryptophan (an amino acid in turkey that makes you sleepy) that I just wanted to sleep."  Sarah Michelle Gellar was too tired to perform a sex scene in her 2006 movie SOUTHLAND TALES - because she had just feasted on turkey.

The "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" actress plays a porn star in the movie, but was disappointed when she couldn't partake in an intimate scene with full gusto, because all she wanted to do was sleep.

The 30-year-old had binged on a huge Thanksgiving meal of turkey - which contains chemicals that make you lethargic - just before she was due to film the scene.

Don't we look a little lazy in this black strapless number? This isn't the way to go specially when you are invited to a Superhero Fantasy themed Gala.

You can't be a superhero wearing something dull. They too have to be chic.

Sarah Michelle Knows Lonely

jsw_005692695.jpg

LOS ANGELES —  She may have spent six years slaying vampires as "Buffy," but it seems Sarah Michelle Gellar has had to battle more demons off-screen than on.

"I have experienced first-hand and I know how lonely life — and it is not just Hollywood — can be," Gellar told Pop Tarts while promoting her latest crime/drama "The Air I Breathe."

"It's hard. You are constantly someone else and it is hard spending your life being someone else and projecting an image to really find yourself. It's tough."

Although Sarah plays a character called Sorrow in the new flick alongside Brendan Fraser, Andy Garcia and Kevin Bacon, she uses her star status to bring a starry smile to others.

During her travels as an ambassador for CARE to poverty-stricken places, the Tinseltown tiny experiences the exact opposite of sorrow when she wanders in war zones.

"When I travel to these remote places, I feel pleasure and happiness and helping these young girls — in America we are such a gluttonous society, and seeing the way these people appreciate everything is such an exciting time," she said. "Sorrow is when I come back."

But how does the wife of Freddie Prinze Jr. really feel about being named Maxim's 2008 Woman of the Year?

"It's so far removed. I was at the airport newsstand and people were looking back and forth and then went "Nah, it's not her" — but it is still a great honor," Gellar said. "And I get to lord it over my friends, which is fun.

For some reason the gold and the blue together is cheesy. It kind of reminds me of something you can find in those costume rentals.

Scrappy Happy Sarah

Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar is certain she can handle herself in a fight - because she's prepared to punch her opponent where it hurts the most. The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star has no qualms about causing her sparring partner some serious injury if it means she'll win a brawl. She tells American magazine Maxim, "Chicks are dirty - hair-pulling, scratching. Guys have guy codes. They don't sucker-punch. They don't punch in certain areas. Anything goes in chick fights. "But if anything ever goes down, I think I'll be OK. I'm pretty scrappy."

Looks like somebody has been taking good care of herself but this is how far she should go. A little more and she would look anorexic. Too bad her black empire number isn't as stunning or outstanding.  Not really bad taste but something people won't be talking about.
