Women of Steel

Far from dull, gray is sexy and super stylish. Women should wear more steel!

If Germans had goddesses, then that would be Claudia. The supermodel struck a pose and struck gold (and silver) in this wonder of a dress.

Not quite crazy about the pink pumps, but Rebecca’s gray draped creation is to die for! This dress packs a lot of style in the few easy seconds it takes to slip over your head. I want one!

Rebecca Gayheart

A woman who will tell you her age will tell you anything.

I’ve gotten a couple of little notes calling me Ms. McSteamy, which is kind of funny.

My beauty routine is basically plenty of sleep and lots of water.

Sometimes I wake up and think, how did I get here?

I love being married more than anyone. It’s what I always wanted. I found the person who’s perfect for me and we have a great time and a great partnership.

Since I was little and wanted to be an actress, I always dreamed of being on Broadway.

Rebecca is just beautiful in Kaufman Franco’s yellow maxi dress. It’s actually getting getting hot in here Ms. Steamy. She knows just what kind of clutch to use and what kind of shoes to wear. Right on!

Eric and Rebecca: Mismatched

When Dr. Mark Sloan (aka McSteamy) first appeared on Grey’s Anatomy walking out of a bathroom soaking wet with only a strategically placed towel, audience reacted. It went down in television history as a “watercooler moment.”

Up next for Eric Dane is a TV movie Wedding Wars where he plays the brother of a gay man who goes on strike in support of marriage equality.

Rating: 5 for him; 2 for her

I always felt they were a mismatched couple. And I think I’m right. He can steam up a dull color like gray to perfection. While she turns a happy color like yellow into leftover mustard.

Perfect hair, perfect dress, perfect man. Looking like a scene of the Sex and the City movie? No, it’s Eric and Rebecca on their way to Charlie Sheen’s wedding… A pure stylish fairy tale come true.

Actor ERIC DANE and his wife REBECCA GAYHEART almost missed the Screen Actors
Guild Awards on Sunday (27Jan08) - because their car broke down on the way to
the Los Angeles ceremony.

The couple was heading to the Hollywood event when they experienced car trouble and were forced to change vehicles - twice.  Grey's Anatomy hunk Dane says, "(It was) just a hiccup. Transport problems; we went through three cars getting here."  Gayheart adds, "The battery died. Our friend was driving us here, then they had to send another car to meet us halfway. It was an adventure!"

For those who weren't able to catch the SAG awards, there's always the replays, Fashion Police and of course loads of photos on the internet to remind us all what a major disappointment SAG Awards was - fashion wise.

Rebecca's bloodcurdling number makes me want to puke ah, er, blood.

"My wife is pretty brave. To spend three years with me - we just celebrated our anniversary on October 29 - takes a tremendous amount of courage." Grey's Anatomy star Eric Dane praises his actress wife Rebecca Gayheart.

" I drink at least five bottles of water a day and always get eight hours of sleep." - Rebecca Gayheart

"She really ups my stock." - Eric Dane, on his admiration of wife Rebecca Gayheart, to Rachael Ray

Initially, I thought this was just one of those boring dresses but the details of this dress is just so pretty. The lovely color,  pleated bodice,  flowy skirt and the subtle beading on her low neckline.

She did everything right from the simple hoop earring, to the clutch and peep toes. Simply beautiful.

Rebecca: The Girl from Noxzema

Rebecca Gayheart

At the end of her movie Urban Legend, a woman refers to Rebecca's character as the "girl from the Noxzema commercials". Rebecca was, in reality, the face of Noxzema products in the early 1990's.

She first met former fiancee Brett Ratner when they lived near each other in Manhattan, where both were desperate for their big break. Becoming friends, Ratner cast her in his first movie, a short film entitled Whatever Happened to Mason Reese. The movie put both Brett and Rebecca on the map for success.

In her spare time, she likes to read, paint, rollerblade and collect antiques.

She moved to New York when she was 15 and lived with six other models in an apartment in Manhattan.

Growing up, she lived in a house built on top of an Indian burial ground.

Her father is a coal miner.

She smokes.

I love this dress, it's fun and flirty at the same time, without giving so much away. It still has elegance stamped all over it.

Aren't we all so sick of celebrities flaunting fake boob jobs by exposing too much unnecessary cleavage?

Rebecca’s Charity Was Life Saving

Actress Rebecca Gayheart credits working for homeless charity Chrysalis with helping her come to terms with killing a child in a car collision in 2001. The Urban Legend star, who is married to Grey's Anatomy actor Eric Dane, pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter and was sentenced to three years probation and 750 hours of community service, and fined $2,800.

Gayheart subsequently launched the Butterfly Ball fundraiser for Chrysalis, which has raised more than $4.5 million for the homeless over the last five years.

She says, "I don't usually like to talk about it because it's a really personal matter, but I can tell you that Chrysalis was a way for me to survive that situation. It absolutely gave me a reason to get back up on my feet and deal with what had happened. It gave me a responsibility to make amends, and it has changed my life dramatically."

You know what, it would have been better for this black (sequined? can't really tell) dress without that sheer fabric on the upper bodice. Take that away and you have yourself a little black dress. The sheer fabric made it look like it was a recycled dress from the 80's. And what's up with the boring pumps? We are not doing a Paris Hilton, okay, so be original, if you want to go simple wear something like these elegant black suede pump  or add a little glitter in these satin pumps.
