Ooooh! I know the perfect gift for Claire Danes in this unsweetened pink number,  a portable steamer! The material is really nasty. And what is she hiding under those sleeves, apples? It’s like a bird house in there!

Eva, pick a better material for the dress next time! The fabric ruined it.

Claire, this is not auditions to the Nutcracker. Get your tutu ass out!

My Fashion Fantasy

If I were five years old, Claire Danes’ dress would be my couture fantasy. This creation of frills and flowers and glitter is a dream come true. I want one, fashion fairy godmother!

But for those of us with less red carpet events in our lives, Erika Christensen’s frothy frock can suit a girl’s party needs. I love how it ends at ankle length. And no, you don’t need to be a bridesmaid to wear this one. It’s for those days when it’s fun just being a girl.

A goddess and her peasants have arrived. SJP found her dress in a dumpster and decided to sew in the missing pieces. Malin decided to take her curtains and wrap it dysfunctionally all over her.

And bam, Claire Danes royally enters. Her jaw dropping platinum one shoulder dress with matching open toe pumps and silver clutch could make any lower class citizen drop dead. Looks like Danes upgraded from playing Shakespeare’s heartbreaking Juliet to a Majestic Royal.

And I bow down to Lady Danes ;)

Fashion aficionados say the new LBD is the sapphire, favored recently by several female celebrities like Reese Witherspoon and Claire Danes, among others. Not every gal can pull it off, though. Take a look at Claire — don’t you just want to pull off her dress? She should wear something that would flatter her non-figure figure.  Reese does, as always, carry herself well.

Claire Danes

"Cafeteria is the embarrassment capital of the world. It's like a prison movie.

"Like with boys, how they have it so easy. How you have to pretend that you don't notice them… noticing you."

"My dad and I used to be pretty tight. The sad truth is, my breasts have come between us."

"School is a battlefield for your heart - you're lucky to get out alive."

Claire shines in this shimmering belted dress by Gucci. One of her best outfits ever and there aren't so many really.

Claire Danes

Claire auditioned for the lead roles of Rose in Titanic and Lisa in Girl, Interrupted (both were 1997 films), but she lost both roles to Kate Winslet and Angelina Jolie, respectively.

In 2007, 28-year-old Claire joked that her friends called her "Grandma" because she didn't bother with a cell phone, I-Pod, or other such technologies. Claire claimed that she didn't even know how to use a cell phone.

When she was five, Claire knew she wanted to be a performer when she saw Madonna dancing on TV.

Oliver Stone, Claire's director in U-Turn, was the one who wrote her recommendation letter for Yale University.

By the time filming for the 2007 film Evening ended, Claire was in a relationship with co-star Hugh Dancy, who played a troubled college friend of Claire's in the movie. Claire says they played a lot of Scrabble in-between shooting, and Hugh was frustrated that she knew all the good 2-letter words.

Claire Dane's fitted black silk crepe is downright ugly. Some people think just because it's black, shows some back and how fit you are already translates into one beautiful piece. No, not really.

There’s A New Man for Claire?

Claire Danes has allegedly ditched boyfriend Hugh Dancy for another man.

The 'Stardust' star - who has been dating the British actor, who she met on the set of their film 'Evening', since February - has been spotted in West Virginia with a local writer.

A source told E! Online: "Claire arrived in town and hooked up with this writer dude. They were kissing for all to see."

A representative for the 28-year-old actress refused to comment on Claire's new romance.

However, friends say she is too busy starring as Liza Doolittle in the new Broadway production  of 'Pygmalion' to be dating someone in Virginia.

A source close to Claire said: "It's impossible that she could have even been in Virginia, she is in New York."

In 2003, Claire famously ran away with her 'Stage Beauty' co-star Billy Crudup.

Billy abandoned his pregnant girlfriend of seven years, 'Weeds' star Mary-Louise Parker, to be with the 'My So Called Life' actress.

Claire left Australian rocker Ben Lee, who she dated for seven years, after falling for Billy, 36, and the pair set up home together in New York.

Billy said later: "It was the last thing that I expected to happen. It took us completely by surprise and it's been a difficult and painful process."

Mary-Louise gave birth to her first child in January 2004 and named him William after his father.

Claire maybe fit but the problem with this fabric is you look like you just came out from an upholstery shop and not a boutique. Who wants to be a walking table cloth or furniture?
