Every gal just has to have a bag and fashionable ones have to have lots. I have bags of different styles and colors to match every outfit for casual wear, active wear, and formal wear. My bags even have to match my shoes. For 2008, here are my top favorites, which I give credit to some female celebrities who helped me discover (and rediscover) them.

[1] Bryna Nicole Loyola Satchel that Blake Lively carried around the set of Gossip Girl. She had a purple one (such a fab color) and I got the same one at $539. Right now, though, only the cream, choco, and black are available. [2] Rebecca Minkoff Nikki bag, which Gossip Girl Leighton Meester brought along a lot last summer off the set. This hobo bag costs $595. [3] Gwen Stefani’s favorite L.A.M.B. Aston-Winston Satchel, which has, unfortunately, been out of stock for months and thus, I have been unable to get one. [4] Louis Vuitton Black Mizi Vienna Bowler Bag that was Kim Kardashian’s favorite. Alas, I could only find a replica at $269. [5] Kristen Bell, Paris Hilton, Penelope Cruz, Lindsay Lohan are but among the few stars who reminded me that a classic never goes out of style. Such are the Chanel purses and my favorite of the lot is the new Cruise 2009 (yes, technically, it isn’t part of 2008, but it was released this year, so it still counts) quilted flap bag in pink lambskin with silver hardware tagged at $2,850, which I’m still desperately saving for.

She’s the fave hottie of geeks and mine, too. She’s pretty, she’s smart, and she’s a good actress. She has a good voice, too, which “Gossip Girl” fans all know. She’ll be lending her voice, too, for “Astroboy” and “Sheepish”.

Just loved her as Elle Bishop of “Heroes”. I’m still hoping Sylar never really killed her since it was only implied. A good thing we’ll be seeing more of her on the big screen with “Fanboys”, “Serious Moonlight”, “When in Rome”, and “Couples Retreat”.

Do-it at home sequin pants ala Kristen Bell. Get a pair of trousers you don’t like. Apply crazy glue all over it. Roll over or swim in a tank full of sequins. The white Enza Costa Rogue tank doesn’t do anything. It doesn’t matter what you wear with it, it’s downright hideous! Burn baby burn, disco inferno!!!

Yawn. I don’t know about you guys but I have seen so much bandage dresses it’s like the national uniform of celebrities on the red carpet. In a sea of blondes with Herve Leger dresses, how does one standout? Calling Kim Kardashian’s booty! Of course, Kim owns this type of dress as well.

I saw a scar on Kristen’s leg the same scar my friend has from her back riding motorcycle days, yeah blame the hot muffler. How did you get yours Kristen?

The girl er woman is 28 years old, can you imagine that? She looks like she just got out of high school. And when she’s wearing something as casual as this, who wants to argue? She was out having fun in Disneyland so she has to be in her most comfortable outfit, right?

But there is always a way to look stylish even in sneakers, this isn’t just one of them. She has striped black and white shirt, white sneakers, orange brown scarf, brown cardigan and with brown bag. Need I really say more?

Spotted at LAX twice last week, a few days apart, was Heroes hot villain Kirsten Bell. Traveling in casual attire, she wore distressed jeans and flip flops (with manicured toe nails). Her get up didn’t match her cute Chanel bag, though. Over the weekend, she was caught with boyfriend Dax Shephard, in much better casual wear. Looks like the two are going strong. Why Dax? Your guess is as good as mine.

The last episode of “Heroes” left me with a creepy feeling, seeing Sylar and Elle sweet on each other. But my, my, Kirsten Bell is one good actress. She does play an offbeat character, so far from her good girl image as Veronica Mars. She’s probably one of the very few reasons I have for watching the TV show. I have to admit the story line is starting to get interesting again. I’d love to have her electrifying powers.
