It's funny because it's backwards. A lot of times I don't overtly try to dress sexy. In fact, I've actually made an effort not to. Because I don't want it to be all about that, you know? I've been wearing baggier clothes at my shows, just because it's important to me that people know I am an artist, and not just some men's trophy model.

It's weird because I ended up on the cover of a magazine called FHM, and I had not approved that.

It's a definite character. It's all tongue-in-cheek. It's just a fun song portraying that situation. It's going to be really fun to perform.

To me, when people don't expect much of you talent-wise, and then they come to one of our shows, it probably makes the show better for the person because they got something they didn't expect.

Jennie Garth's slimming down secret is not what you might think. "I eat a lot now," the Dancing with the Stars contestant tells Us Weekly. "I love a late-night Dorito."

The 35-year-old mom of three (Luca, 10, Lola, 4, and Fiona, 1) has found the alternative to dieting: "Rehearsing for six hours."

Garth tells Us, "When I decided to do [Dancing with the Stars], I did pilates three days a week and cardio twice. I hated it, but it helped. Once I started dancing, things changed faster than when I was just working out."

Garth says she's dropped 10 pounds since starting on the show, "but it's more about the inches and toning. My jeans were a 29 when I started, and I'm wearing a 27 now," she explains. "It's great to be able to go to the back of my closet and get the clothes I wore [prebaby]."

Actor husband Peter Facinelli, 33, is enjoying the benefits of Garth's dancing as well. "He said, 'It's like I got a new car!'" she tells Us. "He can't keep his hands off me. To the point that it's like, enough!"

All parents want their kids to be more successful than they are. They hope that their kids will be happier than they were, more fulfilled, more wealthy, more fit. That they'll be taller. That they'll smell better.

It's natural for us to want our kids to climb the mountains we only glimpsed in the distance.

But perhaps Billy Ray Cyrus didn't expect his daughter to become quite so successful.

Vanessa Hudgens

Disney's 18-year-old starlet Vanessa Hudgens has signed on for the third installment of the immensely popular "High School Musical" franchise and is excited about getting the whole cast back together again.

Although nothing official has been put on paper, Hudgen and fellow HSM star Ashley Tisdale were presenters at Sunday's American Music Awards and both claim that HSM3 is currently in the works.

"I am so very excited," Hudgens told People magazine backstage at the AMA's. "To do a third one for the big screen, I can't begin to think how much fun we'll have."

Hudgens later went on to say "we're all definitely on board," but contracts are still in negotiations for some of the film's bigger stars like Hudgens' boyfriend Zac Efron, 20.

Director Kenny Ortega, who helmed other Disney musicals like "Newsies" and "Hocus Pocus," revealed to People magazine in October that work on the new script is underway and that there might be a few changes that viewers aren't expecting.

"We're all verbally committed, and we're all very hopeful of doing this," Ortega said. "We want to do this, and we're going to have some new characters arriving at Eat High. That'll be fun, mix it up a little bit.

I knew I saw this dress on Petra the moment I laid my eyes on it. In Hollywood, you can't help it if you get to wear what others were wearing months ago, as if they keep tabs. So here's the thing, I'm sure most men will say Petra looks better because she's got the "goods" but I like  the gold number on Vanessa because it's shorter and the cut is a whole lot better. "American Idol" won't return to the air for another couple months, but it was all about "Idol" Sunday night at the American Music Awards, where former finalist Chris Daughtry proved you don't have to win the show to win some awards.

Of course, someone who did win "Idol" — country superstar and Season Four champ Carrie Underwood — also took home some trophy case furniture.

Underwood scooped up Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Album in the country category for Some Hearts and a special T-Mobile text-in award. "Thank you, fans, for going out and buying this album. You guys are amazing," she said. "This is one heck of a night."
