2007 People Magazine Ten Best Dressed

10. Ali Larter - The Newcomer and her heroic style thrills the people at People Magazine.

Rating: 4

I was blown away with Ali Larter's choice of gown at the Golden Globes this year and I have been monitoring her fashion hits and misses ever since. She's doing alright but then again it's too early to tell if she can sustain this. But congratulations to those who made it and hope to see your names again next year.

Trendsetting With Gwen

2007 People Magazine Ten Best Dressed

9. Gwen Stefani - People magazine believes Gwen has it be a Trendsetter. Or does she?

Rating: 2

Trendsetters shouldn't have days off, only nannies. They should just be as fashionable on camera or even just walking the dog. If they have style, it doesn't matter if they are wearing shorts or flats, it will shine through. It's not something you can shut off.

I would be ashamed to be call myself a designer if I got caught wearing what Gwen is wearing.

2007 People Magazine Ten Best Dressed

8. Reese Witherspoon - She impresses People with her effortless approach to style.

Rating: 5

Finally, somebody who can actually dress. The woman certainly knows her fashion and she always looks very cultured.

Even when not on the red carpet, you can tell she's a no-nonsense dresser and still manages to come off stylish even in flats.

Maybe JLo Can Tell Us What Glamour Is All About

2007 People Magazine Ten Best Dressed

7. Jennifer Lopez - Crowned the Glamour Girl by People Magazine and I wonder why.

Rating: 2

Don't you think the title Glamour Girl is a little too much for someone who has more misses (see photo) than my mother at the shooting range? We think she's a little overrated in the style department.

Now, we are actually beginning to doubt what glamour really means in the first place.

Style Master Drew

2007 People Magazine Ten Best Dressed

6. Drew Barrymore - She has been dubbed by the magazine as the master of style being able to go from glam to casual without a glitch. Or so they say.

Rating: 1

I love Drew, she is indubitably adorable. But when it comes to style, I would think unstable would be the best word to call it. Just look at this horrible outfit she is wearing. Case closed.

Yes, while it's true that she might have a few hits here and there but what do we do with the misses? Do we just pretend like it never happened, like she was never photographed in a hideous outfit ever?

Penelope Is International

2007 People Magazine Ten Best Dressed

4. Penelope Cruz - Penelope's style earned her the title The Continental from the magazine.

Rating: 4

She's alright. She has her days when she's cute (like the one she is wearing in this photo) but her red carpet gowns are almost always over the top. She likes them with too much frou frou and oftentimes look uncomfortable to wear.

As for her title, did they mean that she has a "universal" style? Something people the world over can relate to? Just curious.

Katie Made It

jsw_tck5thumb.jpg

2007 People Magazine Ten Best Dressed

3. Katie Holmes - Classic. Well, that's how the people from People magazine defines Mrs. Tom Cruise' fashion sense.

Rating: 2

Classic? Since when did dressing up so matronly (and weird at times) become synonymous to classic? While she does own to-die-for bags and shoes to flaunt around, that shouldn't be the defining moment. You can't just say ugly dress but hey, nice shoes? It has to go together or end up looking like a Christmas tree decorated by a five-year-old.

She wears one black classic dress and boom, she's already Ms. Classic?

Sorry Tom, it's not about you today.

Diaz Legs Are Killing Me

Posted by Mean Critic

2007 People Magazine Ten Best Dressed

2. Cameron Diaz - The magazine calls her "the legs" for obvious reasons.

Rating: 4

Cameron is far too erratic for me to be my style icon. But I do agree that she looks great in a mini, a skinny jean or that teeny weeny bikini.

I actually prefer seeing Cameron in casual but chic outfits like this one than those in the red carpet. The woman has killer legs and knows how to highlight it. She is a surfer girl, she needs to hang loose people!

Beyonce’s Booty It Is

Posted by Mean Critic
jsw_icydkbey1.jpg

2007 People Magazine Ten Best Dressed

1. Beyonce Knowes. People magazine calls her a showstopper at red carpet events and the not so red.

Rating: 2

Showstopper whhhaatt? If they were talking about the costumes in her concerts, then hell yeah. Otherwise, we got to be real man.

Her outfits might be all beads and glitter but you have to look past that to see that what she mostly wears are a total mess.

The only showstopping we can talk about Beyonce is when she fell down the stairs in one of her recent performances and stood up like nothing happened, like it was part of the choreography (ouch) and of course, less we forget the famous bootylicious.
