Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown is but a months away from starring in “PEEPSHOW,” an adult theatrical extravaganza at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, that starts on 18 April 2009. “I actually start my rehearsals in February,” Mel said in a press statement. “The show is like a burlesque, sexy woman power/girl power adventure. [I’m] very excited.” The show, tickets for which are already on sale, was created by the director and choreographer of Broadway’s “Legally Blonde: The Musical,” Jerry Mitchell. Mel B will be using her talents in singing, dancing, and acting in the production that features her playing a character who leads another character, played by “General Hospital’s” Kelly Monaco, on an adventure. “It’s all about a girl that gets taken on this journey, by me,” Mel explained. “It’s all song, all dance… For me it was more about getting back into performing and this was a perfect show.” “She’s the girl that I bring on board into my web of adventure,” added Mel. “I’m the narrator/friend… It’s very sexy, very spicy and it’s all about empowering women, so [it has] all these different journeys and routines that I take her on.” Mel disclosed that she is eager to reclaim the stage next year akin to pop star fashion. “I’m going back to my Spice Girls roots and getting on stage and entertaining and singing and dancing, and I can’t wait,” she said.
