Elvis Presley’s daughter, Lisa Marie, has confirmed she is pregnant with twins, making her the latest celebrity to be pregnant with twins.
Presley, 40, and fourth husband Michael Lockwood, a musician and producer, were compelled to confirm the pregnancy in March after tabloid photos surfaced.
Priscilla Presley, Lisa Marie’s mother, says, “She wanted it really to be kept a secret for a long time, and I think women should, because they should be able to announce what they’re having and when it’s time to make the announcement.”
The twins follow a family tradition – Elvis had a twin brother who died at birth, while Priscilla has twin brothers.
Lisa Marie Presley was previously married to Danny Keough, with whom she has two children, son Benjamin Storm, 15, and daughter Danielle Riley, 19.
Lisa Marie was then married to King of Pop Michael Jackson for a year and a half prior to marrying Nicolas Cage in 2002.

David Spade has been making a living playing snotty and snarky know-it-all diminutive chaps on the idiot box while dating Playboy bunnies.
But of late, the actor has displayed a rarely-seen humanitarian side of him.
Recently, he turned up at an animal shelter in his mother’s town of Lakeside, Arizona bringing with him a $10,000 donation.
According to Usmagazine.com, Spade made the endowment with the objective of saving the Humane Society of the White Mountains.
A source said, “The shelter was falling apart, and they were going to shut it down, so he stepped in.”
The insider added, “It was far and above what they needed and ever received.”
The Humane Society of the White Mountains in Lakeside, Arizona is dedicated to rescuing animals who have been deserted in the neighboring mountains.

After refusing an offer to reprise his role in the hit series Beverly Hills 90210, Luke Perry is set to join the cast of Law & Order.
The season premiere of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit will focus on the terrible consequences of putting a child under the care of foster parents accused of abusing their foster son.
Perry’s appearance in Law & Order is his first on a TV program since last year’s cancellation of HBO’s John from Cincinnati due to poor ratings and average reviews.
Meanwhile, Perry said that his refusal to play Dylan McKay again in the remake of 90210 has something to do with long-time producer Aaron Spelling.
“The difference between CW bringing something back and Aaron Spelling doing something back is significant. And I cannot do it without Aaron.”
Jason Priestly, Shannen Doherty and Tori Spelling are said to be interested in reprising their roles in the 90s series.

People Magazine is reportedly the big winner in the battle for rights to publish the first pictures of the Jolie-Pitt babies.
Just Jared claims that People forked out $10-$15 million for the photographs of the couple’s newborn twins.
According to JustJared.com, “People magazine has drummed up the winning bid for the first pictures of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s twins - Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. It is rumored that the winning bid is between $10 million and $15 million.
“The pictures will come up in a future People magazine issue (but not this week!). The money paid to Brad and Angelina has already been earmarked for charity.”
Nice Matin, the French newspaper that broke the news of the twins’ birth, reports that the handsome payout will benefit the couple’s two charitable organizations: the Jolie-Pitt Foundation and the Make it Right Foundation, a group created to assist in the rebuilding of Hurricane Katrina-ravaged New Orleans.

FBI agents have confiscated Anne Hathaway’s private journals, prompting speculations that she could be pulled in deeper into the fraud scandal involving her ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri.
Sources told the NY Daily News that the diary of the Get Smart star was seized during another raid on Follieri’s pad in Trump Tower.
The agents, who wanted to reinforce their case against the Italian businessman, also confiscated photographs of Follieri with Bill and Hillary Clinton, John and Cindy McCain and Pope John Paul II. Several documents and personal photos of Hathaway and Follieri were also taken, aside from watches, a Tiffany clock and an old Bible.
Hathaway, who has cut off all contact with Follieri after breaking up with him shortly before his arrest in June, has not been accused of any crime.

Seven months after ex-fiance’s Heath Ledger’s sudden death, Michelle Williams seems to have moved on.
According to Star, the former Dawson’s Creek actress, has started going out with movie director Spike Jonze, former husband of Sofia Coppola, director of Lost in Translation.
In recent weeks, Williams, 27, and Jonze, 38, have been spotted several times near the director’s New York apartment. Star reports that early in July, Williams was “seen kissing Jonze outside his Lower East Side Manhattan apartment.”
Williams and Jonze met in 2006 when the actress tried out for his movie version of the children’s book Where the Wild Things Are. Williams was offered a part, but she later pulled out from the cast.
But it was in summer 2007 when they worked together on Synecdoche, New York that the two struck up a friendship.
While they were working on the movie, of which Jonze was a producer, Williams and Ledger were still seeing each other and Jonze was romantically linked to actress Drew Barrymore.
In September, Williams and Ledger decided to end their three year relationship.
Ledger’s best friend Trevor DiCarlo is said to have “given the new couple the seal of approval” after they reportedly got together this summer.

Rapper 50 Cent is suing fast-food restaurant chain Taco Bell for $4 million in damages for using his name in an advertisement without his consent.
In the advertisement, the rapper is being encouraged to change his name to 79 Cent, 89 Cent or 99 Cent as part of the fast-food chain’s “Why pay more?” promotional campaign that endorses goods under $1.
50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, insists that Taco Bell is “diluting the value of his good name,” according to BBC News.
However, the company claims that they sent the rapper a letter offering a charity donation worth $10,000 in exchange for his consent.
But 50 Cent’s attorney, Peter D. Raymond, insists that he didn’t know of any letter and knew nothing about it until he saw a news story about the ad.
