As “Fearless” hold onto its No. 1 spot in the charts, singer Taylor Swift takes magazine covers and print ads along for the ride.

She graced the December 2008 cover of Cosmo Girl, has a truly cute “Got Milk” ad, and now covers the December 2008 / January 2009 issue of Girls Life.

Taylor’s album, “Fearless”, reclaims the top of the chart for the third time since its release six weeks ago as it sold another 249,000 copies. Of the 13 tracks on Fearless, 11 of them have already landed on the Hot 100, including smash hit, “Love Story”.

It wasn’t his first film, but it was the first movie I recalled seeing Keanu Reeves, albeit on Cable. He played Mick Riley, the 17-year-old version of Michael Riley (the late Robert Urich). Michael just turned 40 and wasn’t happy with the way his life turned out and the happiest time he could remember was when he was 17 and he was in love with then girlfriend Laura. An “angel” he meets on a bus makes his wish come true. He gets down from the bus transformed back to when he was 17. He goes back to his hometown and finds Laura (Lindsay Wagner) a widow with two kids and realizes the reason why they broke up years ago. In the end, Mick is willing to face who he is and has a new start with Laura when he turns back to a middle age man.

Fast forward to 2008 and a new film, ” 17 Again” is in the works with Matthew Perry as Mike(!) O’Donnel and Zac Efron as the 17-year-old Mike O’Donnel. Similarly, the adult Mike isn’t happy with the way his life has become (he is separated from his wife, his career at a pharmaceutical company is at a stand still, and his relationships with his teenage children are nonexistent). Driving home, he sees the mysterious janitor standing on the ledge about to jump into the river. Mike rushes out of his car to rescue him, but the janitor has vanished. He falls into the river, instead and surfaces as his 17 year old self. He goes back to high school and through his experiences, realizes that he had chosen the perfect life but just never appreciated it. Thus, needs to figure out a way to transform back into his older self and won back his wife and kids.

So is 17 Again a remake? Or simply a rehashed script? Hmm…
Well, Robert Urich and Keanu Reeves certainly looked more alike than Matthew Perry and Zac Efron ever would.

According to Laura Saltman of Access Hollywood, “Dancing With the Stars” pro dancer Edyta Sliwinska will be guesting on “CSI: New York” yesterday during rehearsals for the “Dancing With the Stars” tour.

“I’m playing a dance teacher and I’m one of the suspects,” the dancer told Saltman.

The role will reportedly be Edyta’s first major acting gig. “I am suspected to be a murderer to kill a guy and chop him into pieces.”

Edyta and her dancer husband, Alec Mazo, have allegedly been working on their acting careers during the show’s downtime.

“We have been both taking acting classes every time we could when we have been off the show. This is something that besides dancing I enjoy the most. I know getting into acting is very tough but if I have a little chance to do it I’m really happy and I really have a great time doing it.”

Alec is said to have also landed a small role in the Brad Pitt flick, “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” as one of Cate Blanchett’s lovers.

Tom Cruise declares Katie Holmes swept him off his feet.

“I knew I wanted to marry Kate when I met her,” he stated in the Dec. 7 issue of T: The New York Times Style Magazine, wherein he and his wife appear on the split covers of its “Holiday/Reinvention” issue.

Apparently when Holmes disclosed to him that she dreamt of marrying him as a little girl, “I said I wouldn’t want to disappoint her,” Cruise shared.

He then bought Holmes an engagement ring soon after their first date in 2005.

“At one point, I thought she was going to ask me to marry her first and I put her off by changing the subject,” Cruise interjected. “I wanted to ask her.”

In a separate interview, Holmes said she “admired him growing up” and admitted she was also “completely in love” after their first date.

“He was so warm, and I thought, ‘Wow,’” revealed the actress. “I thought, ‘You can be a superstar and a human being.’

“He made me feel so amazing,” Holmes added.

They welcomed their daughter Suri in April 2006 and officially tied the knot November that same year.

Holmes declared that ever since her romance with Cruise started, “My life has expanded. My family and friends are all a part of this bigger life.”

Contrary to rumors, Orlando Bloom is not engaged to girlfriend and Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr, according to the rep for the star, who told Access Hollywood on Sunday.
The rep says, “These rumors are not true.”

Earlier on Sunday, The Sunday Telegraph, an Australian newspaper, reported that the couple, who made their relationship public earlier this year, got engaged and were planning a wedding in the middle of next year.
Although they aren’t yet ready to tie the knot, Miranda still has an eye on the future in a recent interview with the New York Post’s Page Six magazine.

“I’ve always wanted kids, so someday, eventually, yes, it will happen,” she told the mag. “My ideal situation would be to live on a farm in a solar-powered house with a hammock and a vegetable patch. When this is all over, that’s where I’ll be.”

Ah… Eliza. Love, love her hair here. And she looked fab in her Black Halo pleated bodice cami dress in black and charcoal gray. I’m not liking her shoes, though. They match in color with her dress, but the top part look like they want to fly away. If  I were Eliza, I’d let them. Good riddance, I say.

Spotted at LAX twice last week, a few days apart, was Heroes hot villain Kirsten Bell. Traveling in casual attire, she wore distressed jeans and flip flops (with manicured toe nails). Her get up didn’t match her cute Chanel bag, though. Over the weekend, she was caught with boyfriend Dax Shephard, in much better casual wear. Looks like the two are going strong. Why Dax? Your guess is as good as mine.

Spencer Pratt laughs at reports that his recent wedding to Heidi Montag was a fake one.

“We had a beautiful ceremony here at One & Only Palmilla officiated by a minister and photographed by the hotel photographer,” he said in a statement to  The Associated Press. “We’ve never been happier.”

The newlyweds are still honeymooning in Mexico.

Pratt added, “Like other elopements that happen outside the country, we’ll take care of the legal details when we get home.”

Erstwhile, Hills executive producer Liz Gateley told MTV News that the couple’s married life and honeymoon will play a prominent part on The Hills’ fifth season.

Cameras are reportedly still down in Mexico, filming their honeymoon, she Gately said.
