Setting the record straight, Sebastian Stan’s rep confirmed to Access Hollywood that reports about the actor are about to make public their engagement soon are not true.

“He is not engaged,” the representative said in a statement.

Leighton and Sebastian first met on the set of The CW’s teen dramedy “Gossip Girl” when he played a recurring role, called Carter Baizen. New York gossip column PageSix previously reported that the couple were engaged and already made it public on their “secret” Facebook pages.

A source has confirmed to US Weekly, however, that the supposed Facebook pages were fake.

Leighton’s rep, though, refuses to comment on the actress’ personal life.

Despite a cover story in U.K. Cosmopolitan suggesting otherwise, Scarlett Johansson has not disclosed anything about her relationship with Ryan Reynolds to the magazine.

According to E! News, Johansson has threatened to sue the magazine after she was featured on a recent cover allegedly talking about her personal life with her new husband, which she claims she did not do.

Scarlett was quoted in the magazine as having shared that, “Ryan has a very romantic side. We both enjoy remembering little things that make us happy - for me, that’s what romance is all about.”

“The Spirit” star’s rep, however, told E! News that the interview is “wholly fabricated” and said the story was an “obvious attempt… to gain monetarily by misinforming their readers.”

Scarlett, her rep added, “has at no point granted U.K. Cosmopolitan an interview, and she has never discussed her personal relationships with the publication.”
“Ms. Johansson, who goes to great lengths to preserve an authentic representation of herself with respect to her fans and the media, is disappointed to see a seemingly reputable publication inexplicably publish a work of fiction at her expense,” concluded the statement.

Cosmopolitan, for its part, announced they were checking the authenticity of the interview: “U.K. Cosmopolitan printed an interview with Scarlett Johansson that included quotes from an agency journalist regarding the actress’s marriage. We ran these quotes in good faith with the understanding that the interview was carried out with the approval of Ms. Johansson and her publicist,” the statement, released to PerezHilton.com, read. “U.K. Cosmopolitan is taking the complaints by Ms. Johansson’s publicist seriously and is investigating the matter further.”

Anthony Pellicano, formerly known as Hollywood’s sleuth, was sentenced on Monday to 15 years in prison for running a illegal business that involved wiretapping and bribery.

The 64-year-old former private investigator worked for the legal counsels of Tom Cruise, Elizabeth Taylor and Michael Jackson. He was convicted of 76 charges in May after a two-month trial.

Cameron Diaz declares that she is a big fan of “Shrek the Musical”, but does not wish to star in it.

The actress voices Princess Fiona in the “Shrek” film franchise and raved about the musical adaptation of the animated blockbuster at its Broadway opening Sunday night.

She was asked if she’d consider portraying Fiona on stage, she stated, “No. Absolutely not. What they do up there … is, to me, impossible. It’s wonderful, though. They’ve done such a great job. They worked really hard, and it really pays off.”

Sutton Foster, a Tony-winning actress, plays Fiona in “Shrek the Musical” that had preview performances last month at the Broadway Theatre. Actor Brian d’Arcy James plays the ogre, Shrek.

Diaz, commenting on the musical, said, “It’s hilarious. There’s so many laughs. … It’s great to see all the actors playing it together, because when we do it for the animated (films), we never see each other. We don’t work together.”

Diaz reprises her voice role in the fourth “Shrek” film, slated for release in 2010. Mike Myers andEddie Murphy will return as Shrek and Donkey, respectively.

Contrary to reports, Beyonce has not signed on for a remake of “A Star Is Born,” as reported by Access Hollywood.

Mindy Peters, wife of producer Jon Peters, told the Houston Chronicle last week that the singer had signed on to remake the 1954 film that originally starred Judy Garland.

When contacted by Access Hollywood, Beyonce rep, however, said the story was “completely false.”

“There was no offer,” Beyonce’s rep told Access.

Beyonce is, nonetheless, starring as Etta James in “Cadillac Records.” Up next for the singer and actress is the thriller “Obsessed”, where she plays the role of Beth Charles.

Usher’s wife, Tameka, gave birth to their second child last Wednesday, as confirmed by a rep to Access Hollywood.

“Usher and Tameka Raymond welcomed their second son, Naviyd Ely Raymond, on Wednesday, December 10th at 2:33 AM, weighing 5lbs, 13 oz.,” the rep said in a statement. “Tameka and the baby are doing fine.”

Baby Naviyd is welcomed by big brother Usher Raymond V, who was born on November 27 last year. The couple married in 2007.

Usher confirmed exclusively to Access Hollywood last year that his wife was expecting.

“Definitively. We’re actually expecting, if you didn’t hear, in December,” Usher  said backstage at his concert at LA’s Club Nokia to Access. “One of the best Christmas gifts there is to have!”

“Private Practice” star Kate Walsh and her husband, Alex Young, confirmed their separation in a joint statement Yesterday, Thursday.

The statement said, “Papers have been filed to amicably end the marriage of executive Alex Young, and actress Kate Walsh. The couple will remain on friendly terms and sincerely hope the media will respect their privacy during this difficult time.”

According to court papers, Young cites irreconcilable differences  for the cause behind the split. The papers also reportedly reveal they have been separated since Nov. 22 of this year.

The actress and the film executive wed in September 2007 , after dating for only a few months.

Walsh’s former Grey’s Anatomy co-stars, including Katherine Heigl and husband Josh Kelley, T.R. Knight, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr., Justin Chambers and his wife Keisha,as well as the show’s creator, Shonda Rhimes, were all present at the nuptials.

Jerry Lewis will finally receive acknowledgment for his humanitarian work from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, whose board of governors has voted to honor him with a special Oscar.

The filmmaker, was never been nominated for an Oscar in the past, but will be given the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award at the 81st Annual Academy Awards ceremony slated for February 22.

“Jerry is a legendary comedian who has not only brought laughter to millions around the world but has also helped thousands upon thousands by raising funds and awareness for those suffering from muscular dystrophy,” Academy president Sid Ganis said.

Lewis made his screen debut with Dean Martin in 1949’s “My Friend Irma,” and later began producing local and national televised appeals on behalf of the newly founded Muscular Dystrophy Association. during the early 1950s. He has been the organization’s national chairman since 1952 and has been at the helm of the annual Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon that has raised more than $2 billion since 1966.
