Jennifer Lopez’s marriage to Marc Anthony is allegedly undergoing a crisis, as reported by the new issue of Us Weekly that are out in newsstands today.

Rumors began about the couple’s marriage being on the rocks after Lopez attended the premiere of “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” last week sans her 8-carat diamond engagement ring, wedding band,  and  the usually ever-present husband, Marc Anthony.

Marc Anthony, for his part, was allegedly spotted in Las Vegas the weekend before without his wedding band, too.

Several sources have supposedly confirmed to to Us Weekly that the couple’s marriage is at a breaking point.

“They both didn’t wear their rings on purpose,” said a mutual friend of the couple to Us. “Nothing Jennifer does is without purpose.”

Anthony’s rep, however, insists to Us, “They are doing great.”

“He’s very, very controlling of her,” says a close pal of Anthony to Us. “The skirts aren’t as short. You don’t see so much of that booty anymore.”

According to the new Us Weekly, Anthony also picks out Lopez’s clothes and checks her phone calls.

Lopez, who used to say she “loved getting his opinions”, has apparently become less interested in his approval ver since she gave birth to their 10-month-old twins, Max and Emme.

A longtime friend of hers tells Us, “She walks in from work, washes her hands and grabs the babies. With him, it’s almost like, ‘Ugh, they’re crying again?’”

Another problem reported by Us Weekly is the fact that Lopez once commanded $15 million per film, and now “blames Marc for her career going down the tubes,” (says a mutual friend who added that JLo is bitter about the failure of their 2006 drama, El Cantante, that only earned $7.5 million.

Another friend says, “Jennifer looked around and said, ‘This is my life now? I’m a Long Island housewife?’ She hates that everything she worked for went down the tubes.”

In all this drama, Lopez isn’t apparently the only one with growing resentment toward her husband. Her best friend, Leah Remini, allegedly cannot stand Marc Anthony.

“It if was up to her, Leah would just break them up today,” so says a friend.

Anthony is said to have been badmouthing his wife. A source says, “One night after their tense family Thanksgiving wherein the couple “didn’t sit together,” Anthony hit NYC hotspots Bungalow 8 and Marquee, and was spotted with his hand on a woman’s thigh and was overheard complaining about his wife to a group of women, “telling them, ‘She’s making me miserable.’”

The following evening, he was photographed by TMZ.com out partying without his wedding band with friends Eva Longoria Parker and Russell Crowe in Las Vegas.

The pair hasn’t been spotted together since Oct. 23. After the public removal of their wedding bands, however, the couple had dinner Tuesday at Beverly Hills restaurant Luau, which they left holding hands.
