Madonna is urging us to give her former lip-locking partner, Britney Spears, a break. The pop icon credits Britney’s recent tumultuous and often bizarre behavior to growing up in the limelight.
"I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that she was never allowed to have a childhood," Madonna said in a BBC interview, “She didn't get to grow up and make mistakes privately and try things out and just be a kid and be innocent. She's been watched, judged and been under a microscope since she's been a teenager. It's hard to evolve that way."

I don’t know how they did it, but making a half-bodied Madonna levitate is just sheer genius (just a little too early for Halloween). So, Chanel haute couture has a funny side too.
