Victoria Beckham's perfume has flopped in the U.S. The Spice Girl and soccer star husband David launched their his and hers fragrance, Intimately Beckham Night, three weeks ago.

However, despite an expensive and high-profile advertising campaign the scent has failed to impress the American buying public. Eight bottles of the perfume - which retail at $38 for 30ml - are now being sold on internet auction site eBay for as little as 75 cents.

It's not just the fragrance that is failing to sell. Hundreds of Beckham-related products have also seen their price plunge on eBay, with one pair of Victoria's designer jeans snapped up for just one cent.

Victoria's spokesman said: "I imagine no-one's buying off eBay because they are all the products they want from the shops."

"Victoria's jeans, for example, are sold out."

Meanwhile, David has been helping Victoria practice her dance routines for the forthcoming Spice Girls tour.

The band's show choreographer has told Victoria and the other girls - Mel B, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri Halliwell - to ask their men to help them learn the moves.

A source said: "Victoria has got David dancing away to 'Spice Up Your Life' and all their hits - he's loving being a Spice Boy!"

Michelle Pfeiffer, Rene Russo and Kim Basinger were among the actresses lined up to play John Travolta's young bride in Urban Cowboy, a part which ended up going to Debra Winger. Travolta, who appeared alongside Pfeiffer in the musical Hairspray, recalls the actress' audition, admitting he was stunned by her beauty - and that's what cost her the part.

He explains, "She was very good. She could act it, but Debra was this more kind of cowgirl type thing. Michelle and the other girls were more beauties."

Actor-turned-restaurateur Wilmer Valderrama will use his South American roots to influence the food at his new Las Vegas steakhouse. Valderrama opens the doors to his restaurant The Company at the Luxor hotel and casino with stars Nick Lachey and Nicky Hilton later this year.

And the comedy star is keen to introduce a hint of Venezuelan flair to the menu.

He tells People.com, "I'm more of a South American guy. So I'm more of like rice, you know, yucca, arepas - It's our (the Venezuelan) version of tortillas."
