Beyoncé Knowles' sister Solange is to take over as the pop superstar's manager once their father Mathew Knowles steps aside in five years time. Solange, who has enjoyed pop success of her own, has revealed she's the heiress to the music mogul's MusicWorld empire, which also includes a record label.

The pretty 20-year-old explains, "In five years I'll be answering those calls. I'll be the president and CEO."

In the meantime, talented Solange, who has also acted in a string of movies, is busy pitching songs she has written to stars like Reba McEntire and Celine Dion.

First of all, I wonder how it feels to have a sister who has everything, beauty, body, voice and fame and you have nothing remotely close to it. I know you should be happy with who you are, but there will be times when you get to question that. But, what is important is how one handles  a situation like this. And if you can get over it, be truly happy and be supportive of the famous sibling, then all is well. But I have to say, Solange won't be able to escape media scrutiny, she will always be compared to Beyonce. I think the first step is to lose the drag queen look: the trying hard outfit and the make up that's just making her look like a man. What is this, Kinky Boots?

Katie Is Britney’s Fashion Hero

Pop star Britney Spears wants to reinvent her look - and hopes to take inspiration from the clothing choices of actress Katie Holmes. The (I Got That) Boom Boom singer admits she is a great admirer of the Batman Begins star's fashion choices and plans to revamp herself as a similar "classy" lady.

She says, "I like clothes. But I like to be comfortable too. Katie always looks so cute in her Armani and Manolo Blahnik stuff. I'm gonna go for that vibe and all the trimmings."

Rating: 2

Katie Holmes is no longer Katie Holmes. It looks like Posh had so much influence of Katie's new look and there's nothing fab about it. I personally like her with long hair - she looks so much older in that 'do. Katie comes across as someone trying hard to be an icon in fashion. (cough) This whole outfit is a total clutter, the vest is terrifying and the blowfish bag doesn't go with her whole look. And Britney wants to copy Katie's look? From one bad dresser to another, now that  is a major catastrophe!

Dunst Beat Leelee Before

Liliane Rudabet Gloria Elsveta Sobieski was born in New York on June 10, 1983. She caught the attention of a casting agent who noticed her while he was scouting the cafeteria of a New York City private school. The man asked her to audition for a role in Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994). She ended up losing the role to Kirsten Dunst, but that didn't stop her. At age 13 she co-starred in the TV movie Reunion (1994) (TV) with Marlo Thomas and a year later starred in A Horse for Danny (1995) (TV). Although she had roles in many films, it was in 1998 that she hit the big time, starring opposite Elijah Wood in Deep Impact (1998). The film, which was one of the summer's biggest hits, garnered Leelee great reviews and brought her to the attention of many casting directors. Next up was Joan of Arc (1999) (TV), which she shot in the Czech Republic and for which she received an Emmy nomination. While working on Joan of Arc (1999) (TV), she was also shooting a film with Tom Cruise, Eyes Wide Shut (1999). The film, shot under strict secrecy by the notoriously reclusive Stanley Kubrick, had Leelee cast as a teenage nymphet who tempts Cruise's character. It didn't turn out to be quite the summer blockbuster expected but, again, Leelee got some good reviews. While shooting the film she developed a friendship with Stanley Kubrick and was heartbroken when he died soon after its completion.

The all black gown is nothing to rave about but it should have been at least floor length so we don't get to see the very homely sandals she's wearing. But the bow tie accessory can make even horrible dresser Bai Ling blush. Was she waitressing at the event or was she just trying to look cute? Penguins with bow tie -  cute. Leelee with bow tie - indescribable!

Jessica: Mens Fantasy Nurse

Jessica Alba always has a first aid kit close at hand in case someone falls ill on set - because curing the sick makes her happy. The Fantastic Four star gets a kick out of curing friends of their medical woes and makes sure she is fully prepared to administer emergency help as soon as it is needed.

She says, "Whenever someone was sick on the set, I was the first one to take care of them. It makes me happy to look after people."

Rating: 2

It's nice to put other people before yourself but who takes care of her and wardrobe? Apparently, it looks like somebody pulled a prank on Jessica. The all black knee length dress isn't bad at all but those scandalous all black sandals were meant to make her a laughing stock. It just looks so evil, you actually need to pray over it from time to time. Holy water?

Mandy Confesses

Mandy Moore used her Blackberry as an autocue when she forgot the words to one of her biggest hits at a performance in New York on Thursday (21Jun07).

The actress/singer froze on stage at Manhattan club Stereo mid-way through a performance of hit single Candy.

Instead of switching songs, Moore confessed to the crowd, "I forgot the words", and began reading them from her Blackberry - reports PageSix.

I am very forgiving. Forgetting lines to your own song, heck that's okay but being a repeat fashion offender, I got very low tolerance. We all know Mandy Moore has a very good girl image and I guess part of her package is to wear "safe" outfits. Funnily, safe doesn't mean tacky or grandmaish in my vocabulary. She's always seems very lost in the fashion department, quick somebody give her a map to her own closet! What a tragedy.

Nicole: The Devil Wears Prada

Socialite Nicole Richie has urged America's teenagers not to look up to her as a role model. The 25-year-old, who entered rehab in 2003 after being arrested for possession of heroin and is due in court in July to contest a driving under the influence charge, is pleased she didn't find fame in her teens because impressionable young girls may have followed her wild example.

Speaking in Nylon magazine, Richie says, "I don't walk around pretending that I'm perfect, so I don't think anyone should hold me to that. The dangerous thing is that there are 16, 17, 18-year-olds that people consider to be role models. I'm so happy I wasn't famous back then. You'd think I was the f**king devil."

Rating: 2

I guess there is a reason why sometimes celebrities hide their faces from cameras, something they are supposed to be addicted to. Maybe it's the time they are actually shamed of what they are wearing, it just took some time before they realized how horrendous they look. Yeah, in Richie's case, her defense would be- the devil made me do it. I love the bag, I love the boots just not under these the humid conditions.

Kimberly: Fashion Offender, Oh, Wow, What a Shocker

Joss Stone has topped a new poll of Hollywood fashion offenders. Editors at In Touch were turned off by the British soul singer's colorful style and voted her top of the pile in the new list of shame.

Stone came in ahead of Britney Spears, Rod Stewart's socialite daughter Kimberly and pop star Kelly Clarkson.

Why limit to five? There are so many fashion offenders running around Hollywood! Open your eyes.

Rating: 1

Kimberly tries the Nicole Richie look. It was already terrible on Richie so it's bewildering why some would want to be copy cats of that goofy look. And for Christ's sake, boots in summer? Fads are not something you should follow blindly and it doesn't matter if it's your style icon wearing it. Icons experiment on looks too but one should learn to abandon ship when it's already a sinker.  Kimberly once said that Jennifer Aniston was homely, that she wasn't gorgeous or anything. Maybe it takes one to know one?

This is what I don't get, you choose a dress with very graphic patterns and bright ones at that, and then use a pink colored bag with it? How did pink get in the picture? And does the black belt really go with this dress??? I really don't think so.
